Stock in Satellite

DSSEchoStar/Dish Network reported earnings were up 16%. While Direc TV’s revenues were up 22% over the last three months. Specific numbers for VOOM weren’t available at this time. But Cablevision (Voom’s parent company) plans to “file spin-off papers soon”, giving separate earnings information for the satellite TV provider. Charter and Cablevision shares fell about 7 and 4 percent respectively this morning. Although a rally was expected.
