HD-DVD: The DVD forum approved the HD-DVD 1.0 specification that will compete with Blu-Ray to become the HD-DVD standard.
Voom: Voom is now available through Crutchfield, or more specifically a “VOOM Start-up Certificate“. Although after an admittedly quick glance at their site, I couldn’t tell if what they offer has any advantage over just calling Voom to order the service.
LCD: Sharp is set launch world’s largest LCD television.
