ilo DVDRH04 DVD Recorder with 80GB Hard Drive

Waiting on the Voom DVR, is admittedly getting a little old, I’ve been looking around for a basic DVD recorder with a built in hard drive, but being the consummate cheapskate and still holding out hope the Voom DVR will show up in the next few months, I started looking around for an alternative. My only real requirement is that it have DVD recording & a hard drive as well as basic timer recording, TiVo would be nice but I’m not looking to spend that much.
So when I ran across the ilo DVDRH04 at of all places Wall-Mart it caught me off guard, a DVD recorder with 80GB hard drive for less than $300.00? To be exact it’s $278.00 plus tax. Anyway I haven’t picked it up just yet, but I’m planning on it, unless any of you have first hand experience with this model, first hand problematic experience that is.

I have had mine for about 2 years now and once I worked out bugs with free downloadable bootable firmware upgrades I have been totally please with it, great deal for the money.
