Sony pull’s out of plasma TV business, or not
As someone who researches all things home theater related on an almost daily basis, these two news items are quite funny. On one hand we have an article stating Sony’s done with plasma TV’s and another who says just the opposite. Man, you got to love creative journalism. If I had to guess I’d say somewhere in the middle is where the truth lies, i.e. Sony will scale back production and eventually phase plasma’s out. But in consumer electronics you just never know when the fat lady has sung her last note.
