Now you do, and it’s very nice to meet you Julie. Many of my customers have expressed interest in hi-def DVD as well, but I’d be the first to admit several of my customers wouldn’t fall into the typical CE consumer bracket.
There are always consumers who are interested in trying out the latest and greatest thing, and another group who shy away from anything unproven.
Then there’s the fact that Twelve million HDTV’s were sold in 2005, and the forecasts for 2006 are considerably higher, the market is most definitely out there.
“Most of the folks that I know are holding out for the dual-format players that can play the Blu-Ray discs as well.”
While I admit LG’s dual format player is tempting, I’m quite sure we won’t see a dual-format player released until after Sony street’s their Blu-ray players (if ever).
“And besides, where&#039;s the content?”
Paramount, Warner and Universal video have all committed to release titles in HD-DVD.
