Microsoft doesn’t think we need HDMI on a game system at all, Sony is willing to give us one but they’ll charge dearly for it.
HDMI just doesn’t seem to be a huge priority with a lot of manufacturers at the moment. That is unless they absolutely have to add one for their product to work.
Like I said I’m totally with you and I could use 3 HDMI inputs right now, but I have to wonder if you and I aren’t slightly atypical of the customers these manufacturers are aiming for.

Addex I’m totally with you, but think about it this way for a second.

Microsoft doesn’t think we need HDMI on a game system at all, Sony is willing to give us one but they’ll charge dearly for it.

HDMI just doesn’t seem to be a huge priority with a lot of manufacturers at the moment.
