The last three places I've lived have been totally unserved by OTA and yet also unable to be served either Dish or DirecTV. That in order to have an NBC (I don't care if it's local, I just want to watch Conan), I have to have a absurdly overpriced cable for network channels and DirecTV. Then I have to switch inputs just to browse channels AND I'm paying more for this privilege.
I HATE cable companies, but if I want my wife and kids to be able to watch TV when I'm not home it's the only reasonable choice.

DirecTV and Dish have GOT to work on their local channel offerings if they really want to grow their business. 20 markets to cover 40% of US households?
