These delays really do not bother me because I am really more interested in when content of any significance will be released.
It seems that the studios are waiting to release the block busters and the classics when the analog (component) hole is closed. So the real question is when is that going to happen? 6 months, a year?
It sure is hurting both camps since many of us are not willing to invest in either technology until we know that we can get any title we want in any format (HD DVD or BR) we want without worrying whether or not we made the wrong investment decision IMO.
It seems no one is willing to fade the heat yet for ICT's until they absolutely have no choice or they have run out of marginal release titles.

I really do not have a preferance for either format so I would consider myself fairly neutral about the subject.

These delays really do not bother me because I am really more interested in when content of any significance will be released.

It seems that the studios are waiting to release the block busters and the classics when the analog (component) hole is closed. Since I'm not a BD supporter though, I don't really know how BD fans actually feel about all this. I'm curious. How much of an effect has all this news really had on their motivation to stick with BD? How dis-heartened are they by it? And have these delays actually turned them off to the format or made them think about jumping ship?
I know only enthusiasts would care or follow this stuff now but still, how are the BD enthusiasts taking all this news?

As a HD DVD supporter, all these delays, all this bad news for the BD camp that have been revealed over the last month or so have looked horrendous for their side.

Since I’m not a BD supporter though, I don’t really know how BD fans actually feel about all this.
