<description>Have you heard anything more about Samsung&#039;s BD-UP5000 “Duo HD Player” ? My husband and I are anxiously awaiting more information. We thought we would hear more about HD-DVD vs Blu-ray and still there is not much information in our area. Most research has just been via articles on the web.

Please post an update as to your thoughts on this issue.
Thank you

<description>Have you checked out the LG player yet? I just installed one in our showroom and have been pretty impressed. At least it is a major improvement over my Samsung Blu-Ray and Toshiba HD-DVD respectively. The design is nice, except for the top buttons (although the look of them is pretty nice). Boot and load times appear to be solid, short enough that I didn&#039;t really notice them. Image quality is excellent, though I have a crutch with my Anthem Statement D2 and Vidikron Vision 90 with Cinewide. I did an a/b with Happy Feet standard DVD off of my Kaleidescape and the HDMI output of the LG. Difference was spectacular.
