Good news for Comcast HD subscribers, it looks like we will be getting 2, even possibly 4, new HD channels, in the coming months. According to this thread at Satellite Guys dating all the way back to June, HDNet and Comcast are in discussions to bring both HDNet and HDNet movies to Comcast’s channel line-up. [...]

In theory, the more sources competing with satellite and cable for our subscription dollars the better, which is why I’m glad IPTV is making headway and will soon be available from several companies. Catch a first run movie, without leaving home

When I read this story the implications hit me immediately, agreement with Comcast to deliver select first run indie films the same day they hit theaters. HD cable, how’s yours?

I’m curious as to what, if any issues you North American HD cable subscribers are experiencing. To be honest this is of direct interest to me because I’ve nearly had it and I’ve only “had it” for about 5 months, HD cable that is.
