SNL in HDTV

Like many other devoted Saturday Night Live fans I’ll be tuned in on October first, but this week’s show isn’t an ordinary season opener, the 31st season of SNL will be broadcast in HDTV.

DirecTV to add new HD channel

DirecTV’s addition of ESPN2 HD (Sept 9th) really doesn’t make the service any more or less attractive to me, as I likely wouldn’t ever watch the channel if I had it, but hopefully this is just one of several new HD channels to come.
